Ann's Pantry
1967, the year it all began. After many years as an apprentice baker for his then unknown future in-laws, our father Sean began the journey of Anns Pantry, name sake of his doting cherished wife, Ann. This was the beginning of a continued love affair of traditional baking, family values and a strong work ethic.
Expanding over the years to own four shops in three towns which survived and thrived throughout the troubles, we decided to take a step back reducing in size in the nick of time before the recession hit. Ann’s Pantry came to settle in our coastal home town of Larne. With the business prospering in this scenic town it was time for our team to focus on a new venture. We entered our first product to the Great Taste Awards in 2010 achieving the first of a long line of prestigious awards. We currently hold an incredible 45 Great Taste Awards, 7 Tiptree World Bread Awards and the most coveted Best Bakery In Northern Ireland as voted by the BBC Good Food Show 2016, won by our dedication to quality and innovative adaptation of classic recipes.
Along with our new and exciting products we are most passionate about our heritage and our traditional family recipes for soda farls, potato bread, oven wheaten and many more cherished Northern Irish favourites.
